How Madessa collects, uses, and shares personal data for Google Play Data safety — including account, payments, and third-party services.
This Privacy Policy explains how Madessa (“Madessa”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use the Madessa mobile application and related services.
It is written to support Google Play Data safety disclosures. By using Madessa, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Madessa is a learning and payments application. Account sign-in is provided through Google / Firebase Authentication. Payments may be processed through PaymentFBC (mobile money and related payment services).

The following personal data may be collected depending on how you use Madessa.

3. How we use your data

5. Data we do not collect
For Google Play Data safety, Madessa can be declared as not collecting the following:
- Location
- Contacts
- Photos / videos from the device
- Files / documents from the device
- Advertising ID
- Precise device ID collected by the app itself
- Analytics / Crashlytics events
6. Permissions on device
Madessa requests Internet access only, so the app can sign you in, load content, and process payments.
7. Storage and security
- Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device for session continuity.
- Account, profile, content, and payment records are processed through Madessa backend systems and required payment providers.
- We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — including account operation, payment history, legal obligations, and dispute resolution — then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer required.
9. Your choices and rights
- You can update profile details in the app where editing is available.
- You can sign out, which clears local session tokens on the device.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting us using the details below.
10. Children
Madessa is not directed at children under the age required by applicable law to consent to personal-data processing without a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” / published date on this page will be updated when changes apply. Continued use of Madessa after an update means you accept the revised policy.
